for the Magnifying Lamps web site.

General

It is assumed that customers have prior knowledge of and/or experience in the proper use of purchases.
Receipt of stock assumes acceptance of all terms and conditions.
Discrepancies in orders need to be reported within 24 hours of receiving the goods.
Some furniture and electrical items may have slight imperfections and must to be accepted as such.
Purchases on this site can only be delivered to an Australian address.

Pricing

All pricing includes GST and subject to change without notice.

Freight

Deliveries are subject to packing and freight charges. All items from this site are sent via courier and are required to be signed for on receipt.

Payment

Full payment is required before orders can be dispatched.
Payments can be made online by credit card (MasterCard, Visa) or PayPal.

Warranty

Items normally come with a manufacturer’s warranty. This is on a return to supplier basis.
For furniture and equipment warranty normally means the item will be repaired rather than replaced.
For electrical equipment the following are specifically not covered under warranty:-
Bulbs, fluorescent globes, steamer jars, fuses, brushes, normal wear and tear, negligence or accident.
No responsibility will be accepted for misuse or inappropriate use of the equipment.
Warranty no longer applies if the product is found in any way to be physically damaged, incorrectly installed, incorrectly operated, altered, abused or operated under incorrect voltage.

Returns

Please choose your Lamp carefully. We have a no return policy unless the product is found to be faulty on receipt. In this case it must be reported and returned within 7 days (or as prescribed by manufacturer's warranty), a replacement will then be provided.
Please note that if the item purchased is as described then it cannot be returned for a refund as it is considered to be a change of mind.
